Our Final Harvest At Lafayette Preschool Is Farm Week!

We rounded out our preschool year with farm week as well as a special gathering at Puzzles Fun Dome!  We had a really great time as we said goodbye for the summer!  Time moves along and we must move with it but I have to say I will be sad that I no longer have the privilege of teaching these beautiful children!

What a fabulous year!  Take a moment to look back over these photos on the blog and realize just how much your kids have grown!  We had so much fun and did so many great things and of course it all passed in what seemed like a flash!

Have a wonderful summer!

Love,
Mrs. Amy

Growing Flowers! Growing Kids! Growing Memories!

Last week was gardening week in our classroom!  We had to do a bit of end of year business but we managed to focus on some key elements of gardening as well as planting some flowers ourselves!

Gluing petals on flower printouts!

Planting marigolds!

Our lovely garden of flowers!

Planted and ready for some water and bright sun!

We got out the tunnel and the kids started to do this with it!

Braden is proud of his hard work building!

S is for sunflower seeds!

We glued sunflower parts and practiced writing the letter s!

We did a gluing and sequence exercise on the stages of flower growth!
