Winter Animal Wonderland!

We enjoyed learning about 3 specific "winter" animals this week.  We talked about the penguin, the polar bear, and the moose.  We did some art related to these animals as well.  At the end of the week, we enjoyed some yummy muffins to go along with our "If You Give A Moose A Muffin" book!  It was an informative as well as tasty week!

Painting Penguin P's

The class takes turns pretending to be a father penguin who we learned carries the unhatched egg between his feet while the mother goes for food!  When she returns in case you are interested, she regurgitates the food into the baby penguin's mouth!  (We did not try to imitate this behavior!)

Our penguin's are purched on some sparkly ice!

Making our polar bear cups!

Jacob demonstrates how the cotton balls can easily become stuck to one's fingers!

Payton demonstrates for me all the training she has administered to her dog!  He can do some pretty awesome tricks!
