Love Is In The Air At Lafayette!

The theme this week was Valentine's as I'm sure you will be able to see as you browse through the pictures below!  We had a fun week talking about love, who we love, how we show them we love them, and why we love them.

We made some really colorful Valentine's collages using cookie cutters and paints!

We also made some fanciful little wreaths using cut out heart shapes glued onto circles to make lovely Valentine's decor!

We had a lot of fun in the sensory table playing with the rice!

We did some Valentine stamping too!

Jacob shows off his art and his writing!

These are some photos of the class making beautiful heart shaped sun catchers!

We had some bright pink play dough at the play dough table!

Braden shows off his pink snowman!

Putting our tissure paper in place on the contact paper to complete our sun catchers!

The letter this week was H for hearts, hands, hugs, and other fun H words!

Our beautiful sun catchers catching the sun!

On Wednesday we had a special treat, Kelly from Earth and Fire brought in some ceramics for us to paint and many of our parents were able to come in and share in the fun!

We made a yummy and adorable letter H when we used conversation hearts!

Eat and glue!

We made some "hearts" for our binders and asked the question "What does love mean?".
